Great tea house and mountain views from the courtyard, also the location is excellent for exploring the nearby attractions. the staff were friendly and offered helpful advice on things to do.
The rooms had a musty smell and the shower only had lukewarm water. the breakfast options were limited and not very appealing.

Nestled in a tranquil residential area on a small hillside, this hotel offers a serene getaway near Shuhe Ancient Town. Rooms feature comfortable beds, heated floors, and scenic mountain views, while breakfast is complete with a range of options. the courtyard, garden, and tea house add to the relaxing atmosphere, and the friendly staff can assist with planning excursions to nearby sights.
The hotel could benefit from improved soundproofing to reduce noise from the courtyard.

This hotel is a luxurious oasis in a serene corner of Shuhe Old Town. the room amenities were exclusive, including a private hot tub and a balcony overlooking the beautiful landscape. the service was exceptional; the staff was attentive to our every need and provided personalized recommendations for sightseeing and dining. the restaurant was top-notch, offering a variety of cuisine that catered to different palates. the location was also advantageous, with easy access to the ancient Tea-Horse Trail.
The only minor issue we experienced was with breakfast. While the menu was varied and the food was tasty, the wait time for dishes was longer than expected.

We loved the peaceful and quiet location of the hotel, nestled on a small hillside in a residential area just outside the ancient town of Shuhe. The hotel facilities were exceptional, including beautiful wooden walls and pillars, tranquil ponds, and a cozy living space. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering excellent transportation options and serving delicious breakfast with both European and Asian dishes.
Nothing that we didn't like.

Spent New Year's Eve at a charming hotel in Yunnan with delicious food and helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and decorated in an elegant, oriental style. A tea kettle and free bottled water were provided in each room, which was convenient. The hotel was located within walking distance of local attractions. What I enjoyed the most was the beautiful garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
My main issue was that the wifi connection was slow and sometimes unstable. the bathroom had no towel rack which made it difficult to keep the towels dry.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
